Unarmed Security officer
Requirements
Must be 18 years or older with no criminal record.
Must have a valid security license or can cover the cost to obtain one.
All applicants must undergo a 2 hour orientation session on the roles of a security officer.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
All employees must complete 20 hours of training.
UNARMED SECURITY GUARDS are responsible for maintaining a secure and protective environment by observing and taking action and reporting incident or security concerns. They monitor alarms and surveillance cameras, patrol the buildings and grounds, check badges or proper identification of facility gate/ entrances.
